Happy New Year 2024 from the Qpoint team!

After spending most of 2024 establishing a solid foundation for the Qpoint platform with our new eBPF agent, we managed to sprint to the finish line and deliver a completely refreshed control plane experience. Our latest updates deliver a more intuitive interface so that ops teams can gain even deeper visibility to resolve issues faster and maximize third-party API performance and internal platform reliability.

Here’s a look at what’s new:

New Dashboard

We dropped a major update to our dashboard landing page which provides an improved overview of your third-party API ecosystem, with at-a-glance insights into key metrics and traffic trends to enable informed decisions and easy drill down after a quick review.

Updated Traffic Page

Our updated traffic page organizes critical data about your third-party integrations into intuitive sections for performance, availability, bandwidth, geolocations, connections, and HTTP requests - with real-time visualizations for easy monitoring, insights, and decision making.

Performance

Analyze HTTP request connection rates, throughput, and response times to identify bottlenecks and maintain high-performing integrations.

Performance

Availability

Track uptime and error rates for external services to proactively manage reliability issues.

Availability

Bandwidth

Monitor data flow volumes to understand how traffic usage impacts cloud costs across vendors.

Bandwidth

Geolocations

Gain insight into where requests originate or terminate geographically to ensure efficient routing and compliance with regional requirements and regulations.

Geolocations

Connections

Visualize active connections between internal applications and external APIs to identify dependency patterns and ensure proper traffic flow.

Connections

HTTP Requests

Inspect detailed HTTP request data, including headers and response code - to troubleshoot errors and ensure consistent service quality.

New Inventory Page

Our new Inventory section consolidates data from all third-party integrations, offering a unified view across vendors, clients (apps), endpoints, and API tokens. This section ensures teams can manage their dependencies efficiently while reducing blind spots and mitigating potential security risks.

Vendor Inventory

Get a complete catalog of your external vendors with detailed analytics to track usage, performance, and undocumented endpoints.

Vendors

Unknown Vendor Details

Identify traffic originating from or targeting undocumented vendors, providing clarity into potential risks or unintentional dependencies.

Vendors 2

Client Inventory

Map how internal applications interact with external vendors and APIs to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Clients

Endpoint Inventory

Catalog API endpoints to manage redundancies, improve traffic patterns, and streamline debugging.

Endpoints

Endpoint Details

Drill down into individual API endpoints to view granular metrics for effective troubleshooting.

Endpoints 2

API Token Inventory

Maintain an inventory of active tokens to reduce risks from misconfigured or compromised credentials. Search by token hash to identify specific tokens.

API Tokens 1

API Token Details

Drill down to view key metrics like connections, bandwidth and error rates for individual tokens for precise and efficient analysis.
